We are the people of Park Avenue Baptist Church, an American Baptist Community of Faith.  We are a family of believers seeking to grow into the image of Christ.  Worship is at the heart of our life together.  We find challenge and comfort, joy and direction as we worship.  Song and prayer, scripture and preaching are central to the rhythm of our worship.   We try diligently to nurture the gifts God has placed in each of us.  We care for one another in all seasons of life, both joyful and difficult.  Yet, we know that caring for ourselves is not enough.  As fire exists by burning, so the church exists by mission.  We are always seeking new avenues of service in our community.

A Thinking, Healing, Feeling family in Mansfield for 189 years.
